Erika is a violinist and violin teacher based in Tallahassee with over 20 years of musical experience and 7 years of teaching experience. Erika has a strong commitment to excellence, professionalism, and community involvement. Erika is available for weddings, special events, music lessons, recordings and more in the North Florida and Southwest Georgia region!

About Erika Sciascia

Erika is a Tallahassee-based violinist with over 20 years of musical experience. Erika is a graduate of Florida State University in Music Performance. After her undergraduate, she moved to Lugano, Switzerland to complete a Master of Advanced Studies Certificate under Pavel Berman, at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland. After the COVID-19 pandemic, Erika felt a strong calling to return home, and obtained a Master's in Music degree from Florida State University while serving as a graduate assistant to Dr. Benjamin Sung.

Erika is the first runner up to both the 2019 Ocala Young Artist Competition and the 2019 "Città di Airola" Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Musicale. Erika has been the concertmaster of the Panama City Symphony since 2023 and has been the Principal Second Violinist of the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra since 2024. Erika is a core member of Pensacola Symphony, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Tallahassee Symphony, and Albany Symphony. Erika is a certified Suzuki violin instructor and teaches both Suzuki and traditional violin.

Erika enjoys hiking, crocheting, baking, and spending time with her husband, Charles in her free time.
